Pause For Station Break…

I was getting ready to write the second post in the DIY Brand Audit for Businesses post when I wondered… since the first one didn’t exactly generate conversations, comments, crazy sharing… maybe I’d better evaluate.

I’m just wondering what you would like to see/hear/explore in this space. The blog is going to evolve in the new year as I evaluate what posts seem to have been the most interesting or useful to you guys (based on traffic, comments, shares…)

What do you want to see in this space?

It feels like more “how this connects to that” posts and more posts about marketing trends and how they affect businesses.

I know everyone, at some point, does a “What do you want me to write about?” post. It’s not so much about the writing as it is about finding topics and ideas you want to talk about… because the best posts are the ones where we all learn from each other through the conversation.

    Mandy: I want you to write about what you know really well, that no one else knows as deeply as you – or what you can share with us that’s a new take or perspective on a problem we’re all wrestling with. When I read what you write, you want the refrain in our brains to be: “Tell me more!” What do you know that well and in that way? Write that. Then, I’m happy to be your audience.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts… I think what you’re advising is along similar lines with what I’ve been thinking… the posts that seem to resonate the most are those where I’m trying to step outside the usual a bit and add new or expanded thoughts to the knowledge base out there. Also, when I’m highly specific about something within my own knowledge base. I am considering spinning off my economic development marketing ideas into another, separate blog so I can better focus on what seems to be working here.
